I'd say about $3K or so to make it a competitive sport spec legal blaster. The great thing about that class is that you wouldn't be sacrificing reliability.

yea doesn't sound to bad, but not sure how much i will race. I think i would have more fun out in the ocean ill get the B pipe here soon or a nynja threw dasa and see where i go from there. Anyone know who has the dakine X lace straps in stock?

Do any of you guys run those seat brackets that you drill into the front to hold the seat in place of the stock ones? If so have any of you had a problem with them tearing the cover? Want to know before I put

good thing i asked i would be pissed if it f*cked up my new seat! thank you for the pics i saw your skis on instagram looking clean!I spent $700 on getting 3 seats done, only to have the screw heads rip one of them. Here is what I did with mine. I turfed the insides and made sure the turf covered the screw heads too. Been riding all summer and the seats are fine.

yea charleys a great dude known him for years we use to race "minis" back in the day up until he F*cked up his leg bad and went back to skis.. and ill definitely head down to oside soon need to go with a few buddys its a 3 hours drive from my house i live near magic mountain

Hey there, looking good - I am picking a super clean Blaster this weekend so I will be looking at mods soon - by the way I ride @ oside every weekend and I gotta tell ya that if you go there one time you won't want to ride anywhere else !!! Trust me!!! If I were you I would get a hotel and ride Sat @ 7-8 AM for a few hours, spend the night and ride Sun then drive home - you will be wiped out !!

Got some updates, built a hitch hauler makes it so much easier to load/unload, got my dakine x lace straps in from Blowsion, figured out where I wanted to mount them made almunum backing plates for the top and bottom so they won't pull threw the hull, drilled tapped installed with all stainless hardware and hit the ocean today. Had fun but way way way to choppy to do anything was fun to mess around and test out the straps can't wait to ride reall surf! Here's a pic from today found a legit spot off the Cali coast where it's legal to bring the skis on the beach.
