Well I have started building a 2nd Q8, this one for the wife, So thought I'd share the progress. Practically stole this hull, it is a 2013 Q8 sky that has never seen water as you can see the breather holes are not drilled etc. It was only 3 invoices apart from mine and ordered 4 days before I ordered mine.

HULL:
- 2013 EME Q8 Sky
- Jaz 2 gallon fuel cell
- Xmetal scupper
- Xmetal KDX footholds
- Ride plate cut flush

Engine:
- 701 61x
- Blue anodized Jetmaniac/ADA girldle head
- SpeedySproket Lightened 61x Flywheel

- Single 46mm carb (jetting specs)
- Ada blue throttle wheel

First task is getting a Waterbox in. Picked up this Gen 1 Xmetal box for $60 Cut the t off but it is still too wide to get up far enough into the nose of the ski.
Got it in the truck right now, Dropping it off with @SuperN8 to have the exit moved from the end of the box to the top (like tdr style)

Some new parts from Factory pipe, Thrust, and @JetManiac.

Everything is here besides a few misc parts, and RRP pole I am picking up from @Roo this weekend, @JamesG has a Skat intake grate for me, and waiting on the X2 nozzles from @SpaceCowboy

First attempt at Alignment wasnt good, put a few washer in so I could get a spec, EME is sending me a longer driveshaft adapter.

why not? That motor ran so good in the Blaster I just had to keep it

Got the fuel tank secure today afterwork, didn't take pics yet though.
It's so much easier building one when you have a reference (my q8).

Need to clean up the brackets and glue down the front tank wedge. What's everyone use for that? Plastic weld/2part epoxy?

So the rotation of the lid isnt center on this tank, so I had to offset my strap brackets as opposed to being center like mine. Otherwise the strapping is all the same, it is not going anywhere.

Decided I am going to take those black RRP tubes for my ski, and order her the Blue ones from Thrust.
