Oops forgot the picture. It’s an old picture now the ski has ADA head on it. I really like the pipe mine makes good power even on the bottom end all with out water injection.

It does look like the factory type 4 pipe. Depending on your setup, they work very well.

Did you try out your jetting on the 750 x-2 yet?

Its not quite done yet, I was gone all day. Ok, type 4 it is without water injection. It hits very hard, and its not ported.

Kevin, how smooth is the power delivery, mine comes on the pipe probably 20-25mph and has over 50 top speed. I need to set it up differently so it hits at lower speeds and has less top speed, you have to let off cause it gets too da-mm scary!:feedback::bigeyes:

His pipe hits well throughout. Your carbs may be off, you may need more compression, more timing, and porting.

What Matt said.
I still have the stock 38 carbs not 46s like on your ski that might be part of it. I also have a freestyle cone on the ski; When I put it on last year I noticed it seemed to make the pipe more responsive. I believe it did this because it allows the engine to rev up faster(less resistance in the pump) it also changes the RPMs on the engine so you are where the pipe responds quicker making it seem smoother.

Don't know if that makes since.

Maybe you guys can help me with my pipe . . .
I have the FREERIDE pipe but with an underlying issue.
The pipe was running perfectly on my buddy's 02 Onose.
I took the same set up and put it on my stock 04 []nose.
After about 4 hours of run time I melted the coupler.
After checking everything out I reassembled the set up and tried it out again this weekend. The pisser is pissing so hot it melts the flesh on my leg when I make right turns.
I would appreciate any input/suggestions.

This pipe does hit hard even on my stock 04. It is more of a mid to top performer. I can barely keep the pipe from hitting (and stretching my arms out) when just trying to cruse around. I am going to try the above to move the power to the lower end.

Couple questions. Where did you get a stock 2004 Squarenose?

Did your buddy have dual cooling? What where his restrictors?
I suspect your cooling setup/routing is a bit different than his.

You may end up having to run dual cooling. What is your water routing right now? do you have a stock head and if you do is there only one water line coming off it? if you have a stock head you may have to tap it and add another cooling line and dump that one over board.

Matt- Ok you got me on that one. It is a 2007 [ ] nose . . .
J/K it is a 1994.
I set it up exactly like he had it. Literally we unbolted and moved it to my ski.
No restrictors.
Would you like for me to shoot a shot of the cooling routing for you to see?

Yes.
Was his engine ported? What was his compression? What spark plugs did he use?
What head? What octane level fuel?

Crash- Exactly like he had it, but his was a O nose.
I do have a stock head with a pisser. I might mention that the pisser pisses about 6-7 feet under power! Which seems to be a lot IMO.
I will shoot some pictures of the cooling layout to show you.
