Touch base with stoopidfx1 aka 98gti, aka the man with no plan but full of off topic opinions that you have to read between the lines for useful info!..FLO-RIDA stole his artist name so he goes by florduhh.. He's still awaiting his royalty checks to finally buy a ski to ride, once or twice before he parts it back out...haha j/k but seriously he's down there!

You can check with Madscientist too. And Madscientist can hook you up with other riders in my area if you want. If I don't take my vacation I would ride but not in Navarre. I plan on leaving here before June for a month or so to get away from the tourists...lol. Most of us ride out of Fort Walton Beach and Destin area.

Im not really sure how to take 2nd post, lol. But yeah im actually in gulf breeze, just to the west of navarre. Unfortunately theres really no good riding spots in navarre, the water is kinds gross in the sound down that way and theres no easy access to the gulf in gulf breeze or navarre. The best thing is to head east to destin, its about a 40 minute ride but well worth it and theres a few riders over that way that ride regularly, but im down to ride anywhere really, theres a few spots on pensacola bch but again no easy access to the gulf so its just flat water. I just got my RN all done and am itching to ride, hit me up when the time gets closer and i'll show you around.

Ah what's the laws as far as lanching from the beach I rented a house that is right on the beach .

You know I honestly couldnt tell you if you can or cant, I have never had access to the gulf in Santa Rosa county to even need to worry about it. I know people have launched from the beach in Escambia county so id imagine its pretty much the same. Im sure Justin (madscientist) would know the laws on that.

From what I understand here in Okaloosa county, where Destin is, it is illegal to launch from the beach unless you have paid for access rights to the city. Most of the time we launch from the public parking at the base of the Destin Bridge. The closest boat ramp to the east pass is beside Dewey Destins restaurant on the bay. They charge $10 per boat. Not bad for the location. There are plenty of riders here. Almost always someone out playing.

good old p'cola
the beach at the bridge iand to the west is military owned, to the east we are not allowed to beach without fines.. he said he was coming to navarre beach which is santa rosa co.

when i held my freeride in navarre i believe that we could beach on the gulf outside of the monitored public swimming areas, but i will confirm that this week.

isnt beaching completely illegal in Walton county (AKA DESTIN)?

Im almost certain that the part of Destin that we ride in which is the pass, is Okaloosa county, I could be wrong but im pretty sure it is. Anyways where we ride and put in at is usually under the hwy 98 bridge in the pass and boats pull up all along the beaches in the pass. We have ridden surf and pulled up on the beach in the gulf where there were others swimming, im not sure if we were supposed to, but I have never carted on that part of the beach.

I would definetely bring your ski anyways if you have the means to, even if you just stay on navarre beach or pensacola bch in the sound there are lots of great restaurants to eat at and bars to drink at after riding. Like I asked before, do you have a beach cart?
