Better make one with some pretty fat tires, the sand here is probably the softest sand you will find anywhere.

Should have my superjet back together next week, I live in Destin, so if it's Destin I'll be around. I launch at Joe's Bayou around corner from Destin bridge but if someone has a beach cart that would be cool to launch close to pass.

even with big tires ,pensacola/navarre sand is so soft it's still a pain and there's often a ridge where the waves crash that drops 2 to 4ft.
everytime i do that i promise myself to build a motorized cart but???
never had a run in with the patrol in pensacola when beaching or starting from the beach but that was in 2006 or 07.

I shot a question off to the FWC to ask about escambia, okaloosa, and santa rosa beach rules on PWC and beach carts and beach launching. I would like to know official rules. If they reply I will post the reply. Walton County website says only homeowner is allowed to beach launch PWC, but they are only county that has decent website.

I say just do it, worse case you get a small ticket, but most likely they will only tell you to leave. I'm assuming this is not a house with a populated public beach in front of it.

Here's the response I got from what use to be the Florida Marine Patrol. "The State of Florida has no state statues that deal directly with loading or unloading a vessel from shore. However many of the coastal counties do have ordinances that the local Sheriff Office Beach Patrol Units enforce. The best way to find out is to call the Sheriff Offices of each county and have a local Beach Deputy give you a call with the ordinances for each of the three counties."

Bring the ski. Bunch of us ride weekly normally week days. Ride Destin pass and gulf. Put in at foot of bridge. Hit me up when your coming. have beach cart.

There is some tropical action which you need to monitor... may be rainy and windy... along with some "surf".

In three days it will be on its way out. Thursday we are riding and supposed to be 5'+ and 8-10 sec intervals.. it is picking up now. The spacing is good and a little choppy

Thanks mad I should be getting there around 1 pm on the 8th. I hope to get some decent surf while I am there.
