any they also have a really crappy sample rate so.... depending on what your looking for they might not work.... i want to say like 2.5 seconds???? I could be wrong tho

The commercial version Tiny-Tach updates the rpm every half second and has a few more features for a few bucks more.

Quality is priceless.
Pistons cost a lot more than a decent tachometer. The sampling rate is extremely important, and I have sold literally hundreds of these tachometers. The tiny tach is fine for flat water cruising, but isn't well suited for performance tuning.

when i was looking for the PET-2100 a few months ago, randy at watcon had the cheapest price by ~$20. As well as he has made a how to tune by tack guide book on here somewhere? (Prob tech FAQ section)

I was considering purchasing the PET Tach but it's made in Japan and the commercial Tiny-Tach is made in the USA. :usa2:
What difference would 20 times per second vs every 1/2 second actually make?
How would you even be able to read the display at 20 times per second without the last two rpm numbers looking like solid 88's? :scratchchin:
Also the PET Tach is more than three times the price without as many features.

Quality is priceless..
You have to wait for the tiny tach to update, you can virtually watch is slowly come up to rpm as you accellerate. Is anybody familiar with George Grabowski? His favorite quote was "garbage in = garbage out".
If you want to be better than the rest, spend the money for quality components.
