Get a really good vice and put the shaft into the vice you cant hurt it because its hardened steel. With a torch heat the prop up really hot until you hear cracking and then Heat it up for about another 10 min straight. Make sure the torch heat goes away from pump bearings. Wack the prop with a hammer or use wood as a hammer to not hurt the prop. This is assuming your not wanting this prop for future use.

I CANNOT STRESS HOW MUCH HEAT THE PROP IS GOING TO TAKE! Its the only way to get it off.

Do not heat it up that much!! I used a heat gun and it worked fine on a stubborn prop, there are greased bearings right behind the prop... Hit up Steve of Backie Chan in discovery bay if you need the proper tools, I'm sure he would help you.

This is gonna sound crazy but mix 50/50 acetone and ATF transmission fluid and put in a spray bottle. Spray it down the thread and it will come off quick. It works amazing.

I've had to torch mine before to get it to release, plus a 3ft breaker bar. Leverage is your friend. A tool would be ideal as the vice teeth can mar up your driveshaft. And lastly remember the threads are reverse. I have a tool but I'm in Livermore. Anyone have the buzzards info he is in sac and could probably sell you one, they are a must have. I lost his number on my phone
