Custom/Hybrid need a single carb setup for a 62t motor

Im rebuilding my 95 FX1 and i bought a 62t motor i dont really wanna run a 2 carb on my ski. I know it will gussle down on the fuel plus i run a factory B pipe as well. Just wondering if anyone still has a single carb setup for sale still??? You can email me a drevel43@gmail.com

Put the stock dual 38 carbs on it for less money and better fuel economy an a single 44

If you have the 38's I would say use them. By the time you buy a mani and get it all set up it will cost you more and you will have less power. I have a 61x with a 44 and I run it because I don't want any problems with dual carbs, but now that I see the power benefits it is really hard to justify it.

You really think ill get better fuel economy with the two instead of one... the fx1 gas tank is tiny and i just wanna be out for a few hours without a refill. What do you guys think, any input would be great. I really appreciate any advice i could get.

I'm not sure about one, but definitely better than dual 44s with no significant power gain. I get a ton of time with a single 44 on my superjet. Idk how long you ride for.

i run oem 38s, 61x ported cyl at 83mm bore, bpipe, 180 comp and ran for a good 2 hours in the surf and through marshs. topped off with 3.5 gals. i think you will be much more pleased with the 38s snap over a single 44 or 46. the dual 38s dont eat as much as you think.
