ive got a ******** ton of parts from a friend, and while taking some apart to check out, i came across this crank. it looks great, there is no pitting in the rod bearings, and they are nice and shiny. the only thing is that the front and rear bearing make a very slight noise when spun. it doesnt sound like clanking or anything like that, but it is a light noticeable noise. would i be ok using this on my 701? the center spins nice and silent, but those two concern me bc i have no knowledge of cranks. but like i said its not a loud noise or a clank, and they are both very smoth.

I wouldn't use it. If they make anything other than smooth sounds, they're questionable IMO.

that sux really badly, they are smoth, but make a slight noise when spining, but everything else is perfect.... and i thought i was gonna save my self $300+

You'll be saving more than $300 in the long run if you don't use that crank.

Send it off to be rebuilt.
