Freestyle Need Help! Rickter XFS Battery Relocation for PFP Waterbox

Location
Australia
Hi there, I recently came to the conclusion that I should put a PFP waterbox in and take out my resinator due to noise and water ingestion.
To do that I need to move my battery to accomodate the position for the waterbox. Who has done this and how? Pictures? Ideas and suggestions?
Thanks

either there.... or under the exhaust tube if there is room

Cant go under the exhaust tube as it sits almost flush to the hull...

Power factor pipe battery on left side..

B pipe battery on right side... But you have to build a battery tray to sit above the exhaust tube...

Mine is working perfect, running a etx 12 with TL... No problems great setup..

It's not an XFS, but when I was running the PFP waterbox in my BOB, we glassed in inserts just underneath the pipe, next to the waterbox. My dad runs the waterbox on his 1000, and has his battery under the carbs... which is NOT a fun one to disconnect & charge...

I put mine in front of the scupper and it comes out super easy with the PFP manifold.

How exactly did you do this? Glassed in a piece of alloy and tap holes for a battery tray? Or put in the yamaha rubber straps somehow like aircraftsalz? Pics will be greatly appreciated!

I'm thinking of using the daikine hardware kit coils to put into the firewall to mount my cold fusion battery box next to the electrical box above the scupper, I wanna keep the battery out of the way of the flow for the scupper..

Ok, here's what I have to work with. Can I get any ideas please? Can I glue/epoxy on brass threads? Rubber strap mounts/hooks or do I drill in holes to the firewall for helicoils?

Plexus is very strong glue, it's what we use to build everything. You can plexus aluminum brackets and bolt your battery box to it. Make sure to scratch up the surface good for adhesion. I think it will be fine specially with the battery your using
