Another viable option is 3M Automix panel bond adhesive for fiberglass, frp, and smc. ( I think the number is 08116 or 08115 ) It will permanently bond any hardware you choose, it is so strong General Motors is using it instead of welding parts on their unibody structured cars nowadays. Either way I know 3M adhesive requires a special gun to dispense it, I am pretty sure Plexus does also.

So I'm told, $110 for a once off use for what I need it for.. It's only to push the cylinder to premix the 2 part epoxy. What would be good to know if there is a 2 part epoxy in similar strength..

I use the 50ml tube of Plexus without a gun. Just make sure you dispense equal amounts.
