Need Help Superjet Noob

So I am wanting to get into surf style riding and riding in the lake. I want a somewhat modded Superjet so not a ton of work has to be done but the market is so hard to find anything right now. I stumbled across a '09 Superjet that has an aftermarket hull but it looked in pretty good shape. The aftermarket hull scares me a bit but I would love to get some opinions from some people a lot smarter than me with this stuff. I guess the big question being asked is whether the ski linked below would act almost as the same as a stock Superjet hull or I should just go find a Superjet later down the road. I do not know a ton on these hulls and the parts list that was listed so I thought it was best to let smarter people help me out!
Thanks

Superjets are awesome and there is a ton of good threads on here about modding your ski. You can search the site or use google + x-h2o to look for ideas. There's also a separate forum on here for people who have modded their skis and you can look through them to get some ideas.

@baylerduncan8 That superjet based hull above is an early xscream hull. Looks in good sh ape, clean and has some nice parts but may be better to just get a slightly modded glass sj. My advise would be to start slow if you are just getting into the sport

As a guy, who is just some guy, who has been riding for over a decade, you dont need aftermarket stuff to have fun. Figure out what you wanna do while riding your superjet. Whatever anyone says, the best surf rider ever rode beefed up superjets.

Learn skills on superjets, branch off from there.

A wise man told me to learn on a Superjet first. Build skills before going aftermarket. It’s solid advice!!!
