300/440/550 Need help upgrading my 86 js300 parts to make it faster need help thanks

I HAVE A 86 JS300 AND WANTING TO UPGRADE IT AND MAKE IT GO FASTER IF YOU WOULD POST THING'S THAT YOU KNOW WOULD MAKE IT GO FASTER ALSO nd everything thanks. I DON'T WANT THE THUMB TROTTLE I WANT THE OTHER KIND.. THAT looks like a brake I'm new to this do bear with me!!

If that's a js300 it's already been upgraded. In the pics is has an extra cylinder. A 300 would only have a single cylinder... Are you sure of what you even have?

slow down and read some on this forum, hit the new posts button to learn a broad amount of things about standups. You have either a 440 or 550 engine in that boat. Get it running, ride it for the summer, learn some TRICKS, not speed, and next year upgrade to a superjet.

You sure can put a finger throttle on that, get some new turf too. Hydroturf is the brand you should be looking at.
