FX-1 need help with my stator

So my used stator came in today with a wiring harness that is way shorter than the orginal. My question is can you cut and just soder these wires together and wrap them up and call it a day. I dont want to cut these wires until i really know that i can. I also noticed that there are 2 green wires that are the same do they matter if there switched. Im running a 61x stator and flywheel on my new 62t engine.

Yea u can cut a solder then and no it doesn't matter if they are vswitched

I wouldn't cut the harness and splice if you ever plan to ride in saltwater. A better cure would be to use a weather-pak 6 pin connecto to do the extension. That would let you pull the engine without pulling the e-box if you ever have the need.
