Octane Need help....

I need help from the fellow octane owners. The pole latch on the 03 octane I have is bent... I guess wouldn't allow the pole to go all the way up and wouldn't hold it there either. Do u guys have any pics of the angle it should be bent? And the pole spring broke! Will a stock superjet spring work?

Alright, so I bent the pole latch back where it should be, threw it on the ski and it does nothing. Won't hold the pole up and dosent latch anything. Not sure how this pos actually works...also tryed throwing on a superjet pole spring and that was a negative too. Not the right bend in the spring, so I ordered a direct replacement from watcon. Any thoughts on the latch? Probably just remove it when the new spring comes in?

as you can see, that crown isnt on a ski. the one on my octane has no latch, so i dont have a working one either and its a pain without it. it uses a UMI spring or you may be able to use a kawi 750/800 stock spring. you can bend springs in a vice with a hammer and fine tune the angles needed.
