Hey everyone! My buddy just bought a brand Rickter XFS and wants to hop-up his motor some before we put it in the Rickter.

Current setup:
701 62t/61x, Std Bore, Freestyle Port/Polish, Cylinder Has Been Decked/Lowered/ ADA Head 195 PSI, Light Weight Flywheel, Stock Ignition No Rev-Limiter, B-Pipe, Carbon reeds

Idk if the lower cases have been ported/epoxied..

We plan on buying a 144mm Mag pump with a 9/15 Hooker.

What would be the best bang for the buck??...Maybe 772cc big bore using 61x cylinders?? Would you noticed a big difference in power from a 701 to 772?

Also how big of a difference would it be running 195 PSI (110 Octane) vs 185 PSI (91 Octane)...Kinda of a PIA running race fuel.

With my limited experience ( was out for 20yrs) I would have to agree with DAG. The Yama really responds to the TL well. Light switch response is the way I would describe it. I also increased the gap on my plus and it ran killer.

What are the down sides to a TL? Which brand is the best? Its a battery ignition, so if the battery gets low the ski will run like crap..correct?

Does anyone know what kind of HP difference there is between running 195 PSI (110 Octane) vs 185 PSI (91 Octane)??

I have run 195psi on 93 octane for as long as I can remember with ZERO issues. Any many many others I know.

I have ridden 61x big bores and love them. They thump!

After all these years I still say a prop has more to with snap than anything else.

Im ripping a BB850 62T/62T at 170 psi built in house here in Quebec, and it rip awesome. It hit close to my 5mil stroker ADA910cc Art built me last winter. Very impressive for the price. If you plan to go BB771 think about BB850. CR500 piston are offer in multiple bore compare to 85-86mm piston. Only my 2 cens !

Remi, can you provide a little more detail on this? It's just a 760 cylinder with a big bore sleeve? What sleeve are you using? Thanks!

Yes we use 62T cylinder. 62T cylinder its the only oem cylinder who can received the BB850 sleeve because the cast of the cylinder is bigger than the 61X. We use Cr500 piston series with ADA superbore girlded head kit. We built it with SBT superjet crankshaft. We use Blowsion BB Sleeve. The case need to be bore and epoxy job as well.

For more details: remi@quebecjetcrew.com

Short block is 3100$ + shipping and we always have 2 in production. Suppose to have the next 2 in 3 weeks.
