Need more Power

I’m looking to upgrade my motor for next year. 2017 SJ JM781 Factory Pipe 44s Boyesen intake 9/15 MSD
I ride flat water and surf on Lake Michigan when there’s waves. I’m 40 230lbs I’ve been riding for a couple years. Probably not going to be doing any backflips but who knows.
I was thinking a 900 PV would be a big step up.
What do you recommend and who’s your favorite builder? Thanks

ET967ss is going to be the best bang for your buck.

Toss on some 46's, a zeeltronic, up your impeller to 10/16 and run a laydown exhaust. If its still not enough get the ET967 and now you already have everything to go with it.

Will my stock pump be worthless? 9/15 hooker currently.

no sense in all of the upgraded engine work without upgrading the pump while youre at it. at minimum a 144 mag or even a 148 mag pump especially if you decide to go over 800ccs. im running a kv 148 setback mag in my superjet with a bolt on 701. i found a good deal on a complete 148 pump so i bought it. its been a nice upgrade and my ski hooks up great.

I’m thinking of going with a Tpe964 and solas 148 with TL zeel.
