SXR Need MORE steering

I rode a ton of great skis this weekend....and what I noticed is that I really want A LOT more throw for my steering.
My nozzle is moving as far as it can, right now...


Is there a nozzle that gives you more steering (pin is closer to center, and has more clearance from the pump?)
I am thinking of just moving the pin in closer on my stocker and taking a grinder to it. Anybody done this? If so, got pics? :cool2:

DID IT TO MY TURN NOZZLE ON THE X2 AND MOST OF THE 550S I TOUCH. YOU COULD extend the upper mounting ball out another 1/2" with a plate

Got any pics? The upper one is pretty far out on my Bruins steering and hits the pad already. Just want to see the location of the pin on the nozzle and how much you ground off

you've already redrilled and tapped your steering cable to hook up as close to the steering nozzle as you can?

mine has been clearnaced and has enough throw that i need a flow guard to tame a little blow by on the sides. look at my build thread in the sig it is in there

yep, no biggie, i forgot to take a better one of the arm when it was apart earlier. blew the reduction noz off today..lol

all fixed and new hooker (10-16) installed...

not sure if I can get the pics off of my ancient phone and on here, basically, move the pin towards the middle of your turn nozzle and grind the out of it so it moves farther!

clearancing and move the pivot pin that the cable attaches to about half an inch closer to the noz. then re-adjust for center
