Need opinions from those who have ridden 750's and 800sxr

My Wife rode a 800 SXR last weekend, and now she wants one.... I have actually ridden both, but my last spin on the 750, was well over 13 years ago...

How do they compare stability wise?
She doesn't care at all about power (yet lol) So given the lofty price of a decent used 800sxr... I was thinking about looking for a clean 750 as well, but the gap between my rides is so long, I don't even have an opinion.

The only stand-ups she has ridden: My Kawi 650 (years ago) my old SJ, My SuperFreak (for 15 seconds) and the 800SXR.... She was obviously far more comfortable with the 800SXR.

If memory serves, the 650 and 750 hulls were pretty damn close right?

The sxr is by far a more stable ski and all around better than the 750 Imo I've owned both

The 800 SXR is far a better ski more stable, better handling, & better motor. I owned both within the last two years and wouldn't even consider a 750.

Go with the 800 SX-R, and never look back. I have owned them both. No comparison.

Never owned a 750, and have no desire to. Only ridden one a few times and wouldn't buy one over a superjet. The only Kawi I would buy is a SXR (or X2 if you're into something like that).

And no, the 650 and 750 are not at all similar. The 650 is light, porpoises like crazy and slides. The 750 rode like a tank and turned heavy on the front.

Only thing I'd say a 750 is for is people won can't afford a RN or SXR, can afford better than a 650, and are too impatient to buy a SN.
