SX/SXi/SXi Pro Need some help identifying a part from my SXI PRO

Boris

The Good Old Days
Had a major water leak in my PRO which was coming in from every opening in my bulkhead.
The seal on the midshaft was OK but the plate was corroded to a point that it broke. When I pulled if off I noticed another aluminum plate under the carrier. This second plate has even more corrosion on it that the carrier plate and it even has a hole rusted through. Guess I found the water leak.

Anyway, this second plate seals the PVC shaft tube to the bulkhead which is totally different than my 2 X2's. Those have the PVC tube molded right into the SMC bulkhead.
Am I making any sense here ?

So, I've searched high and low, looked on OEM part finders but can't for the life of me find this plate.
Anyone know what I'm talking about or where to find a replacement plate or perhaps has one for sale ???????

Here are a few photos of my midshaft carrier setup. Sorry for the crappy pictures, I used a lousy webcam.

All you need is the through hull bearing carrier. It is suppossed to be one peice. Somebody may have used a thin peice of sheet metal to bandaid the situation. I had one on my 750 crack. Every time i accelerated the hull would fill with water. Get new bearings, new seals and the through hull peice.

the rear of the bearing housing would not seal against the pvc pipe.
