Are you going to flat tow? I would recommend that ,so your not dealing with another trailer,car dolly,etc ?...if you decide to flat tow there are only certain vehicles that can be flat towed

Only drawback was, if you have a diesel ,you have to remove bike ,or ski on the side of the road to access rear engine compartment

That's the setup I like best. I was wondering if I could convert the motorcycle lift into a ski holder?

Paul sells hitch haulers with receivers on them. Not sure of towing capacity though. Ask him about it.

We had a Harley Davidson Ultra classic on there 'its A lot heavier then a ski , about 1000 lbs point is they sell a hitch and trailer for your weight needs

For light towing I would recommend Subaru Baja. Very fuel efficient and versatile, a bit over 4,400 lbs. Towing capacity about 3,000 lbs

Tow a box trailer with a street legal Ranger RZR XP and 2 stand ups. Trailer would need to be 18', but 16' might work.

I wanted one of those Subi Baja till I realized only that little flap opens up. Rendered it kinda useless in getting a ski to the lake.

Why not go with that Tandem Tow option and keep your Nissan Truck. You could even get a scooter or two on there to jam around the RV campsites.

Another consideration would be security when you are away from the RV...don't want someone swiping that ski!

Security is a concern so ski will have to be insured. I'm going to buy a cover for it and chain it down as well. Hopefully most people wont even know what it is while its covered or think its cool grill or something.

I think I'm going to try the setup above like the motorcycle and flat tow a jeet wrangler. at least that's the idea for now.

Some states that you pass thru require the tow car to have a remote braking system in your tow car and working brake lights ...Don't let someone screw with your cars/ jeeps wire harness, you can add a bulb into your jeep tail lights....if your not familiar with towing

on most class a rvs if not a diesel the farthest back storage compartment will go right through to the otherside and you might be able o put it in there on rollers
