650/X-2 need some kawi assistance

i just picked up a 1990 650 ts that has a locked up motor but is real clean otherwise.

wondering what parts work on other skis.

pump is real clean. is it interchangeable with 750's?
driveshaft i assume is unique to this ski cause it's real short.
carb has a remote fuel pump? do all 650's use that same carb?


learn me what i should grab off this thing.

Strip it all, carrier bearing pump drive shaft(more on that later) motor electrics, start stop, steering; cable. You got the idea

-Driveshaft is unique to the TS

-Ride plate & intake grate are unique to TS

-Exhaust system is unique to TS as well, except for the manifold on the engine, thats on all 650's

The only part you can use is the pump, and it will not work on a 750 ski.

Unless the carb is a 38mm carb, I wouldn't waste time with it. The exhuast manifold is the only part of the exhaust that is interchangeable. The motor and electronics are all the same, except for the ebox which is different, but the stuff in the ebox is the same so you can move it to the correct ebox probably.

The lanyard start stop switch is like gold to 650sx and x2 owners.
The pump is good for any 650 ski.
Carb with remote fuel pump is garbage, toss it.
All the electrical components are swappable to other 650s (just not as a whole ebox)
Flywheel/bendix/manifolds/motor mounts all universal for 650 skis.
starter is good for any kawi 650/750/800
Stator can be used on any 650 when wired up correctly.
