4+ feet from a tune? boat was about 5 to 6' from water so excuse me if i doubt that a tune would add another 80% to that height.

so you're saying the boat filmed was in a state of poor tuning with all wrong parts attached? don't think so!i'm not picking on anyone but only bringing up the fact that unless a boat is extremely poorly put together initially a 60 or 80% increase in height is highly unlikely under similar circumstances.

I think that there's more in the works than displacement.
Saw some amazing experimental stuff on the intake side that might blow your mind in days to come.

What you don't know is that was the first 1400 built, that was the test engine. You have to start somewhere. Yes they got that much more out of it.

Did you see the first flip in the second video? Closer to 10 feet than 5.

Nothing wrong with the big displacement motors.

I have done kart ing motors that the initial build is so far out that 80 %improvement is possible after a weekend of tweaking.

Big up to the x scream guys to spend the money on the development. Some one has too.

Thats 100% possible to get that much of an increase with tuning. Your statement may actually me more accurate than sarcasm. If that was the first 1400 and before it was tuned you can almost bet they were way off. Noone had ever had a similar motor setup to base things off of. so you have to start somewhere and adjust from there. Id say they guessed pretty good but after seeing it in daytona this year. yeah 4-5 ft more height is accurate.

I could easily hold on to a 1400.....

I could hold onto one all day long at full throttle. The problem is if the ski was in the water and running while I did that.

I'm sure that there was a time that 1000cc motors were not allowed in competition.
