UPDATE: I took off the head and found that the domes are 35 cc. I took off the carburators and everything seems clean except for some jelled gasoline. I took off the intake manifold to inspect the reeds, and to my suprise.....out pops out a set of moto tassinari reeds with carbon fiber pettles. Just another suprise to add to this boats history so far. I inspected the crank and it seems to be clean and in good condition. I also opened up the electrical box and found an MSD ignition module. Just thought i keep you up on the suprises as them came out. This boat is like Christmas and my birthday rolled into one becuase every bolt i seem to take off opens up a new and unexpected gift.

Snapped some pics of Jake working on it - things are coming along very nicely with the clean up (got the hull inside as clean as we could), starting to put things back together some...

Question - the upper 2 inches of the PTO side cylinder had a little bit of corrosion on it (rough to the touch) but overall the cylinders are really nice, no scoring. Put it back together and run it as is or is it possible to very lightly hone just that top area without pulling the cylinder? Can see it in some of the earlier pics.
