Haha just need to say, what the fck is going on in the groups on FB haha!
CP industries obvs sold out the castings for "tpe" cylinders to whom ever wants to buy them, Tony and Jordan jumped on the train and went to town!

And now I suppose its Eric one of OG r&d dudes of tpe got butt hurt beacsue his deal with CP isnt waterproof.

Stuff get developed and in some sort copied or sold further all the time in all branches

It's an interesting time at least. I think this is the breakdown of these motors.

Erik pioneered the CPI cylinders in getting them mainstream at a reasonable cost. True Performance Engineering TPE. The pricing and availability is very much like JetskiNerd now. Erik has done a ton of work in developing these motors in many different configurations and built a lot of them.

Then there was the whole Dasa buying TPE thing, which I think didn't end up being anything at all. Maybe an agreement with the casting facility to buy more cylinders or pay off some debt on them. I don't know, only heard rumors but never saw anything materialize.

Then Torrent (Brian) took over TPE, turned it to Torrent Performance Engines and started selling them at least 20% more expensive, rubbed people the wrong way.

Tigercraft had an in at CPI and knew a lot about the availability of the cylinders and worked with JetskiNerd to bring it once again more mainstream back to Erik's vision.

At least that's how I've seen it. I think it's great JetSkiNerd and Tigercraft are working together to get these and parts for all TPE's available at a reasonable cost.

Yeah for sure, everything that makes this sport goinf forward is a good thing people will always throw poop no matter what.
I like it, Jordan is great and the little i had to do with Tony, feel he is a good dude.
