***new Gallery Software***

So...

To be brutally honest... I don't like the new gallery software.

1) It is difficult to find my photos. The best way I have found is to click on user albums, then find my name under the "O" section. There should be a link in the navigation bar to my photos.

2) It is difficult to add a photo to an album. You have to get all the way to that page where the picture is kinda large, then click on "Album it".

3) I did it before, but I can't figure it out again, how do I make a new album?

I'll get used to it, but I'll take the old album any day of the week.

Sorry for being unappreciative, but just MHO.

but i never used the old gallery either, since i just joined.

Let me work on these.

1-I can take care of that pretty easily I think.
2-click Upload, select User Albums, then you're at the upload page, easier than the old by far to me, lots fewer steps, or am I missing what you're talking about?
3-click Albums, then there is a link Add Album

The majority of users hated the old setup, and it loses the thumbnails quite often for some reason, no matter what version I had installed.

The comment I got was they wanted to see my pics in a larger size as they went along, not thumbnails.

I've got a complaint.

I want to view crabs surfslam pics. there are about 10 bazilion of them. the only way to cycle through them is to click the next button on the thumbnail toolbar and it only advances on thumbnail at a time. as it advances it loads the middle picture full size. I'd like a way to skip though more thumbnails at a time and only enlarge the ones I want to see.

I was viewing them like this:

I do wish there were more than 9 per page though.

I'll see what kind of hacks/mods there are. Right now it's a pretty much plain install.

Wavedemon, send me your email, and I can send you some zip files with all of them, easy to view with a full screen slideshow.
