Freestyle New here

Just thought I'd say hello. Im new to both the sport and the forum. I was introduced to stand up jetskiing two years ago on a camping trip. I got home from that trip on a monday and by wednesday i had purchased a kawasaki 650sx! needless to say i was hooked! I have a ton of questions so I thought i would join a forum. Looking forward to chattin with you guys!

Welcome to the forum! It is an addictive sport but hang around here and it will make it a lot easier on you. Check out the 650 section and you will get all the answers you need for the most part. I started on a 650sx as well and now have a modded sj and a blaster. Was a good little ski to start on and learn how to ride and work on it. Mostly everyone on here is very friendly and helpful.

Thanks Dmac! I actually just sold my 650 in hopes that I'll be able to save up for a superjet by summer but if not i'll probably get another 650 till i can

At least your on the right track and not dumping a bunch of money into a 650sx... Boy, you see people doing it and they just don't get it. The majority of this community are Superjet riders. But aftermarket hulls are starting to get more and more popular. For those that can afford it, it's becoming a much more popular option, most of the a/m hulls are SJ based though.

Long story short looking for a SN or RN is good thinking. Welcome to the forms and enjoy.

Welcome - so is the "303" as in Denver? If so, there is a good group of riders up at Boyd Lake in Loveland. Congrats on ditching the 650SX!

Thanks WRX! I'd like to get a RN but finding one used isnt easy around here. they go like hot cakes. I might just try and get a 2013. not sure how without a race license but i hear it can be done :bananapowerslide:

ya just north of denver actually. boyd is my favorite lake in town for sure but i just discovered it at the end of summer. Next year i'm going to try to either be there or green mtn res every weekend. If i get a superjet this winter i'm gonna try and head down to pueblo. i hear there is some decent winter riding there???? or at least there used to be before the zebra mussel inspections???? havent researched that yet just heard through the grape vine.

Pueblo is your best bet for a winter ride. We have plenty of water, ramps are always open and weather is generally warmer. Only thing the mussel inspections have done is prevented us from beach launching (which sucks). So we have to fight the crowds at the boat ramp (not a problem in winter).

I come across SJ's occasionally, i'll let you know if I find one. Here's one i fixed up and sold last year: http://www.x-h2o.com/threads/106794-My-SJ&highlight=

I will definitely be going up to Boyd a few times next summer.

Nah, It wasn't mine. But yes, I'm always upgrading. The skis below are mine.
