The problem with new hull technology is most here do not want it and most people will not buy it, no one wants to be a guinea pig, people want to buy things they can work on and understand how to repair, lets say you come up with this new surperb hull material, nothing is indestructable. is it fixable if you break it or is it going to be like the Seadoo spark and require hull replacement, how do you fix it, with what materials do you fix it and at what cost, can the average person repair it in their garage or is it going to be something a body spoh or dealer has to repair, is it capaable of being repaired to a point that you cannot see the repair or is it just going to have a Wile E coyote sticker put on it.
I would love to see the number on how many Freeform factory hulklite hulls were actually sold, I loved the concept of that ski but selling your concept to an unwilling public is a risky business at best.
