New life to RN Superjet

I got this hull from UK few years ago, and it was time to start a new project=)

My first hull project

hull was in really bad shape when i got it. nose was busted and there were craks all over it..
it would be easyer to take a better hull, but here in finland we dont have so many skis to choose.

here´s the hull befor i started

Time to cut it open=)

4" off from back

Lots of cracks

some fiber

Next i make a rocker nose..

because of Skibum i had to make it myself..

Meanwhile it´s time to paint my engine=)
first some sandblasting

This point i got my hull back from my friend ho painted it

After i got it from paint i had 3 and half day to finish up with this project.

it was hard to hurry up and make perfect work at the same time.. but now its ready=)

air intake is now like this.. four frogzkins that keeps water out from engine

Thats it.. i was too hurry to take more pictures=)
only thing i have to change is pole.. it was way too long i could not ride it. Only way i could ride it for a moment was turning the raiser pole to front so thet the pole was 2-3" shorter
i have to cut it about 6" - 8"
but everything else was perfect more than perfect=)

i will cut it and ride again.. ill send dome pics and videe then

But here it is all done.. and i like it

Ski is total of 8" shorter .. 4 from front and 4 from back
it weight about 10kg les than oem superjet

I cut the pole today and hopefully test drive it too=) ill send video and pics of it=)

Nice build! And very unique lines too .. You definitely didn't ever need to trade that pipe for glass parts because it looks like your a hell of a lot better at composite work than you thought .. Sick ski

Nice short rn ( rn= round nose . Tiny looking superjet !)

Was it in an attic ( was this ski built in an attic, by the pictures it looks like he was working on the ski in the attic)

Portable couch? ( there's a couch in one of the pictures on a small trailer on the beach, was trying to ask if he took a couch to the beach)

Lowrider bars? ( his bars are set up facing down which reminded me of gangster low rider bikes with there handlebars like that)

Sucks you got skibummed ( was just feeling bad for him getting screwed by @skibum !

yes i take 2 couch laptop and speaker to beach=) actually it´s not portable couch, it is easyes way to transit 4 people around.. if they all sit in my atv it would kill my springs. And yes i did build it in my barn attic=) i have jetski garage there. Bars are actually pointing forward because my pole was way too long so i get - 6cm (2 1/2 ") with pole facing forward
