here in the u.k crowds are loving our freestyle shows it seems to be more popular here than ever just needs more tv time the x games has been mentioned before only the guys like malone and lenzi can get it there i think talking as in a flatwater event

do they still have surfing in the xgames? I would think it would be easy to get a flat water freestyle event in the xgames,all you need is small body of water. It would pale in comparison to a surf event though as far as love for our sport.

I think the x games has shyed away from all water related sports because it cant be set up in a arena,and thats what they are really about.I thought I saw surfing in one of the early yr xgames,but not recently,you would think they would at least pick up wake boarding because it fits the profile so well.I just think they are anti water sport

Wakeboarding was in the Xgames. I guess the one that was just over a year ago. They had it right here in Long Beach, Marine Stadium.

Surfing was out this year, but will retun to xgames in 09.

i think a competion in the surf would be cool too cuz the guys can go so much higher they can do bigger tricks. flatwater is cool but i think there would be more of a "holy $h!t" reaction when guys are doin backflips 30 feet in the air:shocked:

it is just a hull at the moment . but he has all kinds of engines inside , xscream1000 ,eme1000 ,bige bore 785 , 5mm stroker dasa
he would like to have a complete ski in the future and will be based of the yamaha platform . but as most cases if you want it you can get it to fit .

i agree. i think it would have to be a surf comp to bring the wow factor needed for the x games

no way..

too shallow..waves are too weak and half the challenge is who actually has enough wave knowledge to adapt to the conditions..thats what separates riders in the surf..

plus the only one thats even halfway decent is in Malaysia

I agree.... wave pool technology has a log way to go and there is no way in hell they would let us put a 2 smoker in one either... I don't think we will ever get into the XGames.... I don't want our sport to get that big either

the one is Malaysia does actually...its pretty weak so when they do photoshoots for surfing they do tow-ats with this old clapped out xl760..ive seen pictures

i was surprised they didnt make them use a four stroke..probably cleaner than all the people that go in there anyways..hahah
