Hello everybody. I just picked up my first stand up and am extremely excited!
The good:
paid $200
bone stock 90 sj 650 that compression tested 140 and 145.
hull is in pretty good shape
bike ran and didn't leak water.
The bad:
dirty as hell, but that really isn't something I'm worried about.
Choke cable is broken, and a nipple for a primer line has been inserted where the line previously went in.
When it ran, it hesitated with large throttle input (cold motor?)
My thoughts were to first replace all fuel lines and other miscellaneous degradable lines. Then I'd take her out on the water and see what happens. I read the sticky about "so you just bought an sj", but most of that is for modification purposes. Right now I'm just trying to get it running (right). Any other things I should replace before I even hit the water?
Thanks
