Update 5/7/09 10 PM
Hey everyone, The HD version successfully uploaded and replaced the lower one earlier today while i was at work. Its good to go know. This video was created with the only footage we had, the video gods worked against everyone else who filmed even some of my footage didnt come out.
Regardless thank you all for your support and comments, look forward to more Oceanside crew videos.

This is footage from Chris Rosner and myself over the last 2 weeks using our new camera mounts with our GoPro Wide angle cameras.

Filmed By Chris Rosner & Mark Gomez
Edited by Mark Gomez

This video is still only a teaser of what is to come from the Oceanside Crew as we develop more angles, get our world Champion rider back, and much more dynamic footage.

Without further delay I present the video.
comments are appreciated to make a better video.
Thanks
-Mark G.

That is awsome! Post a pic of the camera mounts.
You can't really get a feel for the wave size or where you're at in relation to a wave, but its easier to watch than a jerky helmet cam. Love the view of the bails!
Nice job on the editing too.

Two mounts have been working like a charm for me.
You asked so I'll show you how I did it...

First: Support a Mini Sirloin burger Cowboy by taping your GoPro to its head, hit the record button and let the little guy hold on for dear life while keeping eye contact for video smoothness. This little bugger has worked out great!

OR:thinkerg:

My little brother helped out with one of them after my Mini Sirloin Burger cowboy rental fund ran low. This one worked fantastic! I never thought tinker toys could work so well under such conditions!:barrel:

Hope this helps! :usa2:
Yipi aaii yay mini sirlion burgers!:silly:

The bail out looks like ...................

Did you play peter pan in your high school play ? The "x" needs to know.

So is Mark ever going to actually pony up a real pic of the camera rig?

I would really like to see it; it seems totally rock solid. No jerking or bouncing at all.
