No more purple....You just buy a new hood, or did u actually paint it....

painted with appliance epoxy the color and shine is right, but my prep wasn't perfect and i didn't put enough coats so it has orange peel texture in places.

i had to repair a few places and the sanding i did made the finish a lot smoother.
