Your old prop probably didnt do it because it was being used as the liner slowly warped so the liner wore it down the same. Your new prop is to spec and will wear down the same. Liner and prop are both stainless so its not like one is going to give and the other wont, they both wear. You do have the option to sand down the high spot in the liner, which will reduce wear on your prop, but it will make the metal slightly thinner and it will warp slightly faster going forward. I usually just run it as is. Itz only $75 to have the edge repaired on the prop in a few years when you decide its time for a liner.
