its a crotch rocket for the water lol. Looks fun as hell to ride, but I think Id wear a cup if the water was even a little choppy. Looks like a nut breaker.

I think it looks cool as hell and I am really stoked to see people trying new things. Maybe this sport some day will be what it used to be. But do I want one... Ummmm NO I rode a 3d once and it wasn't for me.

I can't believe no one has already said this... PHOTOSHOPPED!

SFL's pic ofcourse...

I am on the fence too. Good idea but being an X2 rider, I wouldn't have went with the pole concept...

rick is into sportbikes as well so this is where it came from and got good reviews from customers that have rode it in the development process . but it is not gong to be a surf boat more of your lake carving and riding boat and hopfully race class as well

In theory, I love the sounds of this but the pics have me scratching my head a bit. The steering seems really low compared to the B1 which, IMO, is already too low stock. I don't know how you'd get into any type of a freeride type stance (ie standing) and comfortably grab the bars. Yes, the pole pivots, but raising it up also means it moves forward and it seems pretty far forward already as well.

I would really like to see a side view of a full sized person riding this standing up (and for that matter how about some vids of it rolling from the originator of the trick). In the mean time, I made this due to my own curiosity so I thought I'd post it. Obviously, the scaling is only estimated, but it looks like as configured the steering is around 8" lower or 5" forward from that of a stock blaster. The seat is around 1.5" shorter and 6.5" further back. It also seems a few inches shorter overall. The green shows the motion of the pole.

I agree, in the very first pic it looks like he is a little cramped up. if you are sitting its fine or leaning but flat out he looks like he is squating and I can see my legs and arms getting cramped quick holding that position.

In your pic/overlay it does seem close in size but the one thing to notice is where you would normally stand on a blaster and be bent- the footwells seem forward and the bars are down so that makes this situation worse.

I bet it rides awesome on flat- just like a streetbike. but I wonder how comfortable a ride it will be anywhere else.

don't get me wrong- I like new things- I am just not sure how this is better than a sj or a blaster. if you can stand farther back then okay but now the seat is in the way isn't it? shave that and put a fix steer and you have an x2-almost. steering is too low. lol some one slap some riser bars on that bitch and give it spin!!!!

It's a niche market but they will sell. Extreme toys for extreme people. If I had Rick's resources I'd build funky stuff too.

Anyone remember the SnowHawk? Fun as hell and we all wanted one when they first came out. Hard as hell to ride and very challenging but the thrill wears off after the first 10 hrs and then it's just alot of work. Brand new they were a good chunk of change but after a couple of model years they were cheap and easy to find as they changed hands alot.
