Picked up both of these skis for $1000 from a family friend. Neither have run in probably a decade or so.
The 650sx is an '88, modded out quite a bit with a high compression head, dual carbs, coffman pipe and total loss igniton. I'm looking to detune it a bit so I don't have to run race gas, and add back in a charging system. Seems like it was a racing ski back in the day in virginia, has IJSBA stickers, race numbers. was last registered in virginia in '97!
the 440 is mostly stock, just has a pipe and ride plate.
I got a box of spares with a 2nd flywheel, a sensor for the ignition on the 650sx, and a few other goodies. I'm pretty clueless as to what I have, I'm new to the world of standups but have been around modded cars/dirtbikes for a while.
I'd like to know some things to watch out for while bringing these two skis back from the dead.
