Mine was there till I cut the thing shorter and on 96 it should be on pipe side going vertical on the bulkhead

on the inside of the hull, thats where the other one is and they match so maybe this guy is wrong. i hope so.

Yeah I thought on 96+ they are on the left side in the back, My 92 SN has the HIN on the right side like hes talking about though.

interesting.. because codified law states right side... in that case ignore what i said... haha... i've never seen any watercraft(ski or other) that wasn't on the right... and have read that law more than once...

i assume youre talking about the one inside the engine compartment. is the one on the back of the hull on the left side opposite side with exh outlet and mounted horizontal? under the bond line.
