Just gonna run it down in one shot.
2017 T1 Carbon build (my second complete build of a T1)
When I say complete I mean COMPLETE.
Helped Toby build these molds over 3 years ago.
Toby and I built mine and his first T1s from rolls of carbon and gallons of Epoxy over the winter of 2014/2015 unveiled for its first ride in Daytona 2015.
That hull held up to over 600 gals of riding without a single stress crack of any kind. It was time to build another (cuz I can).
Same here, Rolls of carbon and epoxy and some awesome molds that produce the best riding hull I have ever ridden.
Spray, lay, pop, trim assemble. All parts laid by me and Toby in his shop then brought to my shop for trim, line up and assemble. Only change made was moving holds forward.
Even the paint work was done in my shop by Rowdy Joe (jetskiJoe on here I believe) mad paint skilz!
rebuilt by me Dasa 7 port 900 last Oct top to bottom so decided to run it again it had 750gals through it before rebuild (shoulda rebuilt crank at 500 when I did the top end) but didnt and paid for it.
Now she is fresh maybe 50 gals through her.
so fresh Dasa 900 7 port
same 3 year old 155 skat setback
PFP
TL
Dasa 48mm carbs
Went with Xmetal comp pole (thanks Tricky)rather than RRP this time for a different look more than anything.
Usually run Xmetal Trim but having some issues there which Tricky will iron out soon i am sure so in the meantime trying the Blowsion 155 system
Started this after Xmas and took my time as the last one about killed me attempting to hit a deadline of Daytona that year. She fired up Tuesday night.
All that is left is to ride and get a feel of how to finish off underside of footholds.
Will have it on water this weekend to do just that.
Many thanks to :
Toby , for designing an absolutely incredible all around hull and helping me lay up lots of parts.
Rowdy Joe, for some MAD paint skilz
Jet Maniac, for having every part I ever need when I need it EVERY TIME, dude is a vital part of this sport.
Tricky for hooking me up with the Xmetal products modded to actually work. ONLY PLACE to get Xmetal / Xscream parts and service IMO.

Looks very nice if just finished building a ski it takes a lot more effort than u would have thought is the hull infused or wet laid & bagged?

Such a clean build. Time for a new display pic.

Boat comes out clean, but nothing clean about the process, carbon dust, turf dust, resin all over floor, Paint, primer and clear overspray everywhere even with lots of tape and plastic........ shop is anything but clean at this point LOL, will take all weekend to get it back in livable conditions.

The T1 looks nice and familiar :) what is the difference between a T1 and a superfreak badass in same length? Looks a bit like the first superfreaks.
Your ski looks amazing btw!

There are a ton of differences really, mainly the entire bottom of the boat is different, there is no need for a -9 in this hull as the bottom is rockered in rear as well which allows it not to pop straight up on landings or slow speeds like a hacked hull would. Top deck and hood are totally different too, footholds different. I think the only thing slightly similar is tihe long, angled bond line which is a great feature IMO and most of the T1's have different lengths according to the riders liking, mine are long down the sides and shorter front and rear. A 100% surfrider may prefer to leave them longer. Really the comparison is not enough to discuss LOL.
