I got my Thrust pole today. It sure is a nice piece. Thanks to Brian for excellent packaging and a really clean product. I am going to run it on my 03 RN, should look good. I can post better photos soon.
Sorry about the grainy photos, but it will give you an idea of the design. I bought a pad and the steering stop separate for $280.00. I'd like a Thrust steering system, but it's not in the budget yet.
The top and bottom are Billet aluminum. It is a bit heavy being billet, but that's no a bad thing in my opinion. Brian is really contributing to the sport with awesome new products and R&D. It's cool to see a big hitter making his own designs.
I just wanted to give an update on the Thrust pole. I ended up just using the stock superjet mount due to my budget, and it seems to work fine. I didn't put any breather tubes and it was a non issue.
Overall it is a great pole and seems real balanced. I've cut 4" off the length and it seems pretty good at that length for me. The pad sticks a bit passed the handle bar, but I can put some underpad on that. I may want to relocate the mounting holes and move the pad forward. I am a heavier guy with a bigger belly, so it might not affect the norm. I'd give it a thumbs up and and highly recommended the pole.
I got one of the first ones. I've put my pole through hell and it's still dialed. So far very happy. You really can't go wrong with anything from @THRUST
