New to Jet Skis, worried about my 1st Superjet

Hello everyone,

I'm new to X-H2o and jet skis, just bought a 2013 Superjet.

I noticed that there is air under the rubber on the sides, looks like the glue that would attach the rubber to the ski is coming off leaving some space in between. I can hear some air coming out when I push down on it. Is that normal?

I'm afraid water would come inside and start damaging the foam or the fiber.

Haha. E aí man. Isso aí vai cair tudo sim. Pode ir colando de vez em quando pra reparar mas depois tu vai ter que comprar turf e colocar.

This is a minor issue and is normal as skis wear. In afew years the entire tray will need to be replaced with Hydroturf.

Thanks my friend, should I worry about water inside that rubber and rotting everything or just ride until it's needed to replace with turf?

As beiradas estão coladas, só na parte do meio da borracha mesmo em cima que parece que está faltando material...aí tem ar....eu aperto e ouço o barulho do ar saindo pelas extremidades.

Meu medo é a água entrando e acabar apodrecendo ali das laterais com o tempo.

Devo me preocupar? Ou posso andar tranquilo até cair tudo e colocar turf? Rs

You could poke a small hole or 2 in the lifted area. Put some weldwood original contact cement in a syringe and squirt it in and re-attach it for now.
