Hello I picked up to new to me skis, One is a 83 and one is a 84. I was wondering the motors say 530cc on them are they still 550s? also one was what looks like stock exhaust stuff and it runs out the back. The other has a big west coast pipe and it runs out the front port side. Why are the different locations?

Yes. A 550 is actually a 532cc motor. If the exhaust is going out the right rear and there are no covered up holes then that hull is a 90 or newer. The one with the Westcoast exhaust is giong to be an 88 or older. If the Exhaust exits above the bondline on the left hand side then it is 85 or older.
