Hey i just moved to San Luis Obispo, CA from Buffalo, NY. I'm just trying to find the scene out here and good places to ride. Any input will help me out for sure!!!!!

Nice, I went to school there. Such a great area. Pismo beach is 15 minutes away...awesome place to ride. People ride out there mornings on weekends all the time. Enjoy the town!

I used to live in that area, Pismo is a great place. Probably the coolest place if your into atvs, dirt bikes, offroading, surfing and jet skis. You also have a few lakes close I used to go to. Lopez, kinda small but close, you can camp but not right up on the water. San Antonio is awesome because you can set up camp right on the waters edge. Nasimento(sp?) is a great lake but I didnt go to often unless I knew someone with a house. The narrows at Nas are crazy during the summer, everyone ties off and its like a huge party.

come to the first entrance to the beach at grand ave in grover beach saturday at 8. almost always riders there then, especially if there are waves.

You can always count on running into someone at pismo on any weekend that the surf is decent. I have a house at lake Nacimento and ride there during the summer. Lots of stand up riders there especially in Heritage ranch (where I have a house).

my uncle has a house at heritage, but i can't launch there because the jetski is not registered in the owner of the house's name. super dumb.
i gotta pay 21 dollars to launch at the main launch, super bummer!!

You can still launch through Heritage if your a guest. Its a little more expensive than the Marina but if your staying for the weekend its cheaper than paying for camping and lake fees at the Marina.
