I have an 87 js550, just got it about 2 months ago. I'm wondering what the waterbox does, is it for weight or something with the exhaust?

It dampens motor noise and, to some extent, keeps water from entering the motor.

does anyone know where a good online place is to buy a carb rebuild kit, or a kawasaki jet ski online superstore that has everything for my js 550?

also does anyone know what type of carb would be stock, all i can find is rebuild kits for mikuni and keihin.
