welcome! There are a lot of great people on the X, lots of people like to poke fun, roll with the punches and absorb as much info as possible. Don't be afraid to ask as many questions as possible, but make sure you use the search button first. A lot of topics have already been covered. Other than that, enjoy the 650SX, it's what a lot of people start out on.

ok here's the ski under the hood and the carb, its pretty much bone stock except for oil block off in the front and i have the one for the back just not installed yet but im about to put it on cuz i got a dry pipe from a friend and a new carb (Mikuni sbn 44mm) and it came with oceanpro rideplate and westcoast intake grate and the front oil blockoff. but the pads are in kinda rough shape im plannin on removing the plastic and the old mat and rail covers and redoing the turf. i also got some 4* bars to put on it once i get grips. ok and a have a question. It didn't come with a lanyard so it would be fine if i got a kill switch from a 750 i think. would it just plug right in. anyone know or have other suggestions for a lanyard?

I want one. It will plug in, just get two sets of plugs for the on and off wire sets and solder it up and plug it in.
