this was a ski a local rider in oside built. it was terrible. never do this. notice the added rail width to compensate for the enormous tubbies.

I had that ski at one point XD my roommate bought it from him... It was fun as hell with a 760 and recovery was great on that super wide ski. It was just heavy haha, very fun though! Definitely looked extra rough haha!

My x2 is pretty dang ugly. I used it to learn a lot of what I know know about composites. The hull actually worked great, it only needs some minor improvements to the hood seal and a better hood liner. I went back to a stock hull for now to get a fresh idea of the x2. Had a heavily modified bottom deck so long I forgot how to ride a real x2. Working a new hull that will hopefully be much better overall.

All of those are old skis so I'm gonna change it up a bit. I don't think anyone has an uglier new ski than a bomboard. I applaud their idea of modularity but the execution was way off. A sit down had a three way with a stand up and a 3D and out came an offspring of ugly rivaled only by ozark redneck incest.

Honestly if they would have designed it to be a little more like a stand up and not some sort of cross between I would have really liked it. But I guess it's just because I'm partial to stand ups. I'm sure some people love those bomboards.

That bombard is a flatwater boat. That kneeling position in small chop. Ouch. After a season on it you will never have a chance of adding to the gene pool.

Hey now. Had to water test it before doing the body work. Looked pretty good in primer. I just dont have that picture. Also was taken before the seat was reinstalled. Gp1200 seat latch worked good.

Hee Hee. I hear ya. And I've seen how amazingly far your glassing skills have advanced, so no harm, no foul. I can't do glass work to save my life. Carry on soldier.

I think I had one of the ugliest fx1's out there. The color scheme and 10 million peeling stickers drove me crazy. These pics don't make it look so bad, but it was terrible.
