Many used to do it during a tail stand. Was a staple of Jeff Rakiki (pardon the guess at spelling) and a few others in the 90's. Don't believe I have ever seen it mid flight though.

At either Tupelo or Nashville Ratti did a backflip out of the back of the tray.
How cool would it be to do a 'body' backflip and land back in the tray and ride it out?

i think that body varial wouldent be TOOO terrible to do and it would be somthing new and sweet...

I think it could be done on a blaster but on a superjet you would struggle to find the pole on the way down. If there was some way to fix the pole for a jump then no doubt seeing the air some people get this could be done.

It's not new, chuck carothers did it in 2004, although much more of a layed out superman like body varial than off to the side.

I think it could be done on a blaster but on a superjet you would struggle to find the pole on the way down. If there was some way to fix the pole for a jump then no doubt seeing the air some people get this could be done.

and that is why alot of the guys snug their pole down to where it wont fall... i think this trick is very possible... but then again how come no one trys more moto x tricks.. kiss of death ? i love that.. could you imagine your ski having the nose straight up in the air with ur body same angle but inverted hand stand...

yeah thats the original way to do it.. but "the Volt" as they named it seems the most practical for a stand up. i really think its possible

Not too many pull that one off for a reason...its literally a death stunt, the man himself who invented it broke a few bones the next couple times he tried it.

I'm talking about the most recent video posted...I mean yeah I guess it would be kinda cool. I think the next trick that needs to be laid down is a 'superman tray grab backy'
