Development is done and the magnifacturing of the first batch is underway. Chamber developed stamped by anouther company that develops 2 stroke exhaust systems. Dyno tuned on the 1200. Wanted to start a new post about it and not get too much going in the EME thread. Here are some pics. I should have one in the next couple weeks to try out on the 927 motor.

Exhaust manifold is a newly designed billet version. Machined in top and bottom sections then bolted together.

I am hope that this pipe proves to be the missing part of the puzzle of the 66e. From all the people I have talked too about this platform the 66e without a doubt makes more hp and torque then the 62t, BUT it does not rev as fast as a 62t and weighs a little more. I think the addition of a dyno tuned dry pipe over the hand rolled wet pipe will make a substantial difference in both overall power and acceleration. The next link to test is lighter cranks!!!!

Whats the price?

$1495

And as with the EME availablity is limited on the first production run. The second run of pipes should be made in a few months. B/c the overhead to produce the pipes is so high batches must be sold out before additional batches are produced.

Now this is only for the 800 engine platform correct?

Does he have plans to make the head pipe/manifold for the 701 platform?

I believe the EME is only for the 701 engine. I think they use an adapter plate to fit it to their Polaris 777 engines.

Yes, there are plans to make a 701 manifolds. But I think the pipe is for the larger cc stroker applications since it was developed on a 78mm stroke 1200 motor

Thats pretty awesome. I wanna build a 800 someday, maybe this winter finally. I've bought a few parts over the last couple years to build one. Nice work for sure! Do you have any bigger pics of the manifold? That thing is bitchin!

Hunter, will there be any need for water injection? Will it be set up to accept it?

I take it that the water line currently being used to cool the steel pipe, that is on top of the manifold, won't be used any more?

The manifold and chamber are completly different. The manifold diameter is larger all around and make significant improvements on the 1200's power. water injection can be run on this pipe and will help brouden the powerband. Jeff is currently running water injection on the test boats and loves it. B/c the water injection cools the pipe off a bit he might offer a bare pipe w/ water injection included in the package in place of a waterjeacket. Not sure how I feel about that but we will see how it does.
