at least mine isnt a fat slob at 335# shes the lightened version LOL

:clown:

I did have about three gallons of fuel and a Mag Pump (140mm) that contributed to the weight---I really need to weigh her dry sometime.

Everyone that rides her tells me they like the handling.

Is it safe to assume the 335 is the weight of youyr ski???
I honestly did not follow the whole 'weigh in' at Daytona thing.
I 'heard' their were some dis-appointed people-but did not know
the people involved were. If I am assuming right-I wouldn't think 335
would be bad for a surf ski. As u stated earlier-if it handles well-screw it.
ps
Looks like Bogie was goin freegin HUGE on it!!!

Yes, as I stated earlier this was with about 3 gallons of gas and a 140mm Mag pump. I did NOTHING to reduce any weight by choosing a different battery, using a kart tank, etc.

I am not disappointed with the weight of the ski at all. When Steve and I first discussed this ski, I told him that I just wanted a solid, strong boat----I wasn't looking for a lightweight model and he knew that up front. Although I LOVE to mess with Steve about how fat "Kirstie" is, I'm not disappointed with the overall weight of the ski.

It IS fun to mess with Steve about it, though!!! :stooges: :icon16: :tomato:

If I have learned nothing else in the last few months-beware of what others opinions are !!! If u have someone build u a ski/hull and u r the proud owner and are happy with it-that is ALL that matters!!!

I agree with you. I've got a few hulls. My preference so far is Steve's WCF BF hull. I enjoy it more and therefor I ride it more but that's just my opinion. FYI, my one's lighter than those posted above.

tested the carbon chamber yesterday and I freaking love it!! It seems like my motor picked up some more RPM. I ran the blaster mod before and it gave a bit more bottom end hit but would seem to cut out on top. this chamber let my motor rev and definetly picked up some torque on the mid and top. the chamber also seems to stay cooler (luke warm with my hand on it) and maybe prevents heat build up in the engine compartment.
I'm going to try to dry it out some more. I'm currently running a flow control valve at the stinger but I do believe that it is running too wet on the bottom.

thats awesome!

could you maybe do a back to back test vid with your chamber, and std. mod and a B1mod?

I'd like to hear the diff's in the revs..........now get to work making a CF manifold and HP :Banane26::fingersx::veryhappy:
