I want to put a Yamaha motor and Yamaha pump in this, both of which I do not have. Meanwhile, I have my complete 750motor/650pump X2 sitting in pieces, that is otherwise in good running condition, so finishing this ski before I put my X2 back together just doesn't make sense.
So, I'm working on my original X2 atm. I have some cool mods going on and it should be back in the water soon. I have done a lot and it will be a head turner when I am done, but I don't want to post anything up in my other build thread until I have more done. Kind of tired of the criticism and the non-believers.
Work, school, etc, so the ski is going slower than I would like, but a little here and there has been adding up. Hoping to have it ready for Daytona. It may not be pretty by then, but together and testing my hull mods I hope.

Definately possible. Not sure it would be worth it. It would probably be easier and make more sense to use a fix-ed steer hood and add a seat to the SJ. however, they are very similar in size and shape, so if you were committed, you could certainly make it happen.
