New XS Helium Pricing

Charge what the market will bear. Sell prices should be based on what customers are willing to pay, not based on your costs. Someone said earlier in this thread that manufacturers should be allowed to make a living. Damn right!! If you feel a certain hull or certain hull builder is priced too high, vote with your wallet, and shop elsewhere. Why not make the most $$ possible? If you work a 9-5 job and your boss gives you a 10% merit increase, do you turn it down? No one works for the fun of it.

Minimum $8500.00 plus shipping & customs
So one could easily approach 0-10k real quick?

So I will just copy paste my reply, to a similar comment:

Helium BEFORE increase : 8550 incl pole, NON visual
DVX visual before increase 10.500usd incl pole. turf + 500 graphics + 500
then ad price increase 1300 = sub total = 12.800 usd
+ shipping in lower 48, i would guess 300 usd = 13.100usd

Nitro 8400 visual, incl turf, incl graphics + 1100 usd for RRP light pole = 9500usd
Add overses ship : 1000usd
10.500usd

I was me who said i fully support manufactors making a living.
my personal opinion is that the 8550 the DVX/helium incl pole in primer was before - was a fair price.
The 9800 i think is 1300 to much.

If the 8550 was not more than enough to make a decent markup on the hulls, im pretty sure Patrick would have increase the prise alot sooner, than after 7-8 years :) From what i know he is a good business man

But if everyone thinks that 9800 usd for a hull in primer incl pole, no turf and no graphics is very very fair price, how come no more people bought the DVX/helium in visual carbon when it was 10.500 usd ?
I mean the 9800 + paint will problerly be more than the 10.500? i guess nobody around here likes visual carbon then lol

Christian, Dan does some nice work. I can tell he's pretty ocd when it comes to fit and finish. I really liked the ways this hulls turned out.

Do you like his holds better or do you like the dvx holds better?

Yeah i think he did a pretty neat job as well.
Well tbh, i think the adjustable holds are easier to suit you - out of the box.
But once you get the normal DVX style holds dialed in, i think the are equally good - just a matter of getting it right for you feet

That's s cool, I really like the dvx holds. I'm sure the rrp style takes some getting used to.

I think the visual DVX and rickter cost so much because they have to clear coat it after. Also looks like lee is installing stickers and clear coating over.

Those Tigercrafts look nice. The build quality is definitely no joke. I was suprised to see how beefy the v1 was my buddy had, nice to see. My other buddies XI is really nice too, super light. Definitely a good product in my opinion.

It was kind of cool to try the dvx and the xi back to back. His pole was really short compared to the dvx, so it was a bit different.
They are both pretty nice, the XI has a taller nose. Kind of reminded me of the kdx for some reason. Definitely different hulls though, but kind of the same too. I like the dvx angled foot holds much better.

That just my initial feel not riding hard.

I totally understand why pricing is going up. So much out there and you can't stay in business giving everyone a deal. I'm sure overhead and materials are crazy expensive too. There are so many hull options to choose from nowadays.

Ha ha, I see your point man. I know your making things your own.

I was super impressed how many layers you had at the pole bracket area and how well it was built. I bought one those Vengeance hulls when yours came out. It was built pretty thin at that area. I ended up just putting aluminum reinforcement and west systems to reinforce it so I could ride the next day.

I know the guys up here say good about you man. Nice your making things the way you like them. I know the composite game is not easy and knowledge goes a long ways.

That c1 carbon is a beautiful thing, it's just so hard when the v2 carbon is priced so sexy right now.

So 7-8 years without a price increase and people are complaining? Certainly his cost of doing business has increased substantially in that amount of time, and I'd imagine he has suffered a significant amount of margin erosion, and now it's time to catch up. Wages, healthcare, rent, materials....I sure haven't seen any of these remain flat for even the last couple years never mind 7-8.

Its only one person complaining :)
